How We Use Your Data

Our app is designed with a "privacy-first" approach, ensuring that all image analysis is performed locally on your hardware using Apple’s Vision framework. This means that every scan of your photos happens entirely on-device with zero remote access, device management, or external data collection. While we do utilize the OpenAI API, it is strictly limited to refining and enhancing the text of your search queries to provide more accurate results; your actual images, videos, and personal media are never shared with OpenAI or any other third-party service. By keeping the visual processing on your device and only using external AI for text-based logic, we provide a powerful search experience while ensuring your personal library remains completely private and secure.

How It Works

1. On-Device Intelligence (Apple Vision)
To enable voice search, our app analyzes your photos using Apple’s Vision Framework. This process happens entirely on your device’s hardware. We index objects, colors, and text within your images to make them searchable.

2. 100% Private & Local Storage
All image indexing is stored in a secure local database on your phone. Your photos and videos never leave your device. We do not use cloud processing for your media, ensuring your library remains 100% private.

3. No Device Monitoring or MDM
We strictly follow Apple’s privacy guidelines. Our app does not use Mobile Device Management (MDM) or any system-level monitoring. We only request standard Photo Library and Microphone permissions to provide the search feature. We do not track your background activity or device settings.

4. External AI Usage (Open AI)
While we use OpenAI to better understand your "voice commands" (text-based logic), no actual images or videos are ever shared with OpenAI or any third party. Only the text of your search query is processed to give you accurate results.
